This is a story about success, story about diligent people, who are able to cope with all challenges brought by the work, a story which does not have the end, but it continues. Velibor Karalić is an example of a young businessman who managed, because he had a vision which he made come true. As many people in our region, who lived through severe post war times as registered unemployed persons at the Employment Bureau, Velibor Karalić as well looked for a job for long period of time, knocking at the doors of numerous employers in his environment. After long search for a job, he decided to start his own business. „When I decided to start my own private business, within my own household, I used the presence of Partner and in 2005 took the loan in the amount of 4.000 KM. This was rather brave move from my side, because I did not know what to expect – and this really proved as win-win solution: when you do not know what to expect and which obstacles you might face – you are not afraid anymore. Therefore, I decided to become an entrepreneur”- says Velibor. The initial excitement and enthusiasm in majority of entrepreneurial stories are successful, including this one. With car washing machines, which he bought with credit funds, Velibor generated first income and in quite a short time, he managed to gain the reputation as reliable and entrepreneurial man with whom the others wanted to cooperate. After short period of time, he decided to reconstruct and adjust his business premises to the business he wanted to perform. Therefore, he took three more loans, in the amounts of 7.000 KM, 16.000 KM and 10.000 KM and employed two persons, but there is still possibility to expand the business and increase the number of employees. „If you have a goal, the success is not questionable. Perhaps it will not happen overnight, but it will surely happen. All credits helped me start, maintain and expand my own business”- says Velibor. Successful businessmen as Velibor, each in his own way and in his own environment, demonstrate with their examples, despite the rumours and the environment with big businesses that small business can survive as well. For everything he achieved, he said he could thank to Partner and its staff, who were always available whenever he needed financial support, and who always helped him manage through the business. „Working with kind Partner staff always makes me happy and satisfied. Individual and mutual goals may be achieved only with mutual respect, as it was in our case“, says Velibor.
